Vis reports results.

Vis, our computational engineering division, reports its first results: structural designs generated from written requirements and checked by physics simulation. On requirements the model had never seen, 88 percent of generated designs passed every check: the structure stands, holds its load, and makes weight.

The scoring is physics, not resemblance. A design counts only if an exact structural solver passes it against the specification. The full account, including what failed on the way, is in the research writeup.

Arch organizes into two divisions.

Arch now works as two divisions. Ars, from the Latin for art, develops language and reasoning models. Vis, from the Latin for force, develops models that design physical systems and verifies them by simulation.

Both divisions build on the same principle: a model should work in proportion to the difficulty of the problem in front of it, and stop when the work is done.
